Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd is seeking a data engineer for a global data and AI consultancy. You will build and maintain data pipelines using dbt, Snowflake and Databricks, transforming raw data into clean, usable models and supporting client projects.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and client stakeholders in a hybrid setup, requiring 1–3 years of hands-on data engineering experience, strong SQL and data modelling skills, and excellent communication for a client-facing role with household-name

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of commercial experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of dbt, Snowflake and Databricks.
• Solid SQL and a good grasp of data modelling (star schemas, dimensional modelling).
• Strong communication skills for client-facing consultancy work.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining data pipelines and transformation layers for client projects using dbt, Snowflake and Databricks.
• Developing ELT processes that turn raw data into clean, trusted models.
• Supporting data modelling and architecture design alongside senior engineers and architects.
• Working directly with client stakeholders to understand needs and explain technical decisions clearly.
• Writing clean, tested and well-documented code.
• Contributing across multiple projects and sharing learnings with the wider practice.

What you’ll be doing

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication skills. This is a client-facing consultancy role, so you’ll need to be as comfortable in a stakeholder meeting as you are in a code review
• Curiosity and a real appetite to learn new platforms and industries

What’s on offer
