Job summary

Soben, part of Accenture, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre construction projects in London and across Europe. You will manage delivery from inception through commissioning, coordinating a cross-functional team and interfacing with clients and consultants.

The role requires strategic advisory capability, strong governance, and robust management of time, cost, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Professionally qualified in one of the listed fields (construction, project management, engineering, or architecture).
• Chartered status or on path to achieving it.
• A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle from conception to post-project review.
• Excellent knowledge of main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Design, management, or construction experience in residential, office, fit-outs, health & education environments.

Responsibilities

• Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage and client objectives.
• Leading the establishment of project success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Planning for and managing quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Establishing project governance, processes and systems for use throughout the project.
• Project planning and production of the detailed project plan.
• Advising upon procurement of resources.
• Leading and facilitating the cross-functional project team.
• Monitoring performance using KPIs to improve project outcomes.
• Managing the change control process.
• Monitoring and advising on project finances.
• Managing project information flow with the client through meetings and reports.
• Producing formal project progress reports.
• Interfacing with client and other consultants at all stages.
