Job summary

Soben in London is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre developments across Europe, from strategy through handover, focusing on safety, quality, programme, cost and client satisfaction. You will shape project strategy, governance, and stakeholder relationships, directing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring successful delivery of complex construction programmes.

The role demands Chartered status and proven delivery of major projects within consultancy,

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Chartered status (MRICS/MAPM, MCIOB, CEng, or equivalent) or progress towards chartership.
• Proven experience delivering major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of full project lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
• Excellent knowledge of project management governance and delivery best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership across all stages of project delivery.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures and controls.
• Drive planning, robust programmes and delivery schedules; monitor milestones.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and senior client communications.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams; mentor junior members; foster collaboration.
• Champion health, safety, environmental and quality management.
