Job summary

Eligo Recruitment is seeking Senior Electrical Engineers for Data Centre projects across the UK. Roles include remote, hybrid and onsite work depending on client and seniority, with opportunities from Senior to Lead levels.

You will lead electrical design, specify HV/MV/LV systems, review diagrams and load schedules, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with BIM teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of critical power and resilient systems.
• Experience delivering large-scale building services or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of UK regulations and CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and delivery across major Data Centre projects.
• Design and specify HV/MV/LV distribution and critical power systems.
• Produce and review single-line diagrams, load schedules, cable calculations and technical specifications.
• Lead the design of resilient electrical and building services systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and BIM teams.
• Undertake technical reviews, site surveys and inspections.
• Work with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage deliverables.
