Job summary

Salute in the UK seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to shape data centre infrastructure. You will design electrical systems, prepare specs, and support project delivery across international teams.

The role offers remote or hybrid work, competitive pay, and opportunities for career development on mission-critical projects with a global team. Occasional travel within Europe is required.

Qualifications

3–4 years' experience designing electrical systems for data centres or critical infrastructure.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Strong understanding of electrical distribution, UPS, generators and related systems.
Experience producing technical documentation and supporting project delivery.
Proficiency with CAD software; BIM/Revit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design electrical solutions for data centre and critical infrastructure projects.
Prepare technical specifications, tender documentation and design deliverables.
Support site surveys, audits, commissioning and testing activities.
Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams.
Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, new builds and continuous improvement initiatives.
