Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited is expanding its data, analytics and AI practice. We seek a Lead Data Consultant to deliver bespoke data and analytics solutions, drawing on cloud platforms and modern BI tools. You will advise clients, design architectures, and guide delivery from inception to go-live.

The role emphasizes leadership, expert advisory, and hands-on implementation across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Power BI, with mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering cloud-based Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Client-facing consultancy with leadership of teams or projects.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Power BI, QlikView or Tableau skills.
• Leadership in Data Engineering/AI domain.
• Excellent communication and client management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory services on advanced analytics and data engineering best practices.
• Lead teams and projects from requirements to solution design and implementation.
• Capture client requirements and lead architecture development.
• Design and develop Data Platform, BI & Analytics solutions using cloud tech.
• Lead design/implementation of data engineering on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
• Build dashboards with Power BI for clear client insights.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
