Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited is expanding its consulting team and seeks Lead Data Consultants to join the Data, Analytics & AI practice. You will deliver bespoke data and advanced analytics solutions to UK clients, driving commercial advantage.

The role requires 10+ years in cloud data engineering and analytics, hands-on Python/SQL, and experience with Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will mentor teams and work across modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years designing and delivering cloud-based Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI solutions.
Extensive client-facing experience with leadership of teams or projects.
Hands-on Python and SQL development.
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric/Databricks.
Expertise in Power BI, QlikView or Tableau.
Strong data modelling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing know-how.
Leadership as trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Security clearance eligible or held.

Responsibilities

Provide expert advisory on advanced analytics and data engineering to clients.
Lead teams and projects from requirements gathering to solution design and implementation.
Capture client requirements and lead the development of data architectures.
Design and implement Data Platform, BI and AI solutions on cloud platforms.
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and warehousing.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
