Hitachi Solutions Europe is expanding its Data, Analytics & AI practice in the UK, seeking a Lead Data Consultant to deliver advanced analytics and data engineering solutions for major clients. You will guide architecture, engineering, and BI initiatives, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Power BI to create scalable data products.

You will mentor teams, manage client relationships, and ensure delivery on time and budget, with a focus on security clearance readiness where

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI solutions.
Extensive client-facing experience in consultancy or SI with leadership of teams/projects.
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with analytics focus.

Responsibilities

Provide expert advisory on advanced analytics and data engineering best practices.
Lead teams and projects from requirements to design and implementation.
Capture requirements and develop architectures for current and future needs.
Design and develop Data Platform, BI & Advanced Analytics solutions leveraging cloud tech.
Lead the design and optimisation of data engineering on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
Build dashboards with Power BI to deliver clear, actionable insights.
Guide data modelling and transformation for optimized ETL/ELT pipelines.
Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
