Job summary

Lowell Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive remediation analytics in a hybrid role based in Leeds. You will work with data to identify where outcomes were unfair or inconsistent, design analyses, and coordinate remediation with cross‑functional teams.

You will build and maintain tools (including VBA) to support analysis, generate meaningful governance MI, and monitor remediation performance. You’ll own key documentation and drive process improvements to prevent recurrent issues.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL or SAS to generate insights and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven people management experience (minimum 2 years).
• Good understanding of industry regulations, particularly Consumer Duty and Conduct Risk.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decisions at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and adaptable, able to work independently and collaboratively, with advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tools (including VBA solutions) to support analysis and MI for governance.
• Drive remediation processes, coordinating activity across teams and acting as a central point of contact.
• Lead on complex remediation activity and support quality checks and documentation upkeep.
• Help track performance and identify process, systems and data improvements to prevent issues.
