Job summary

Carbon Data Solutions is seeking an analytics professional to lead its labour optimisation programme within the Operations team. You will own the analytical foundation—defining how we measure productivity and determine labour standards—and translate this into actionable insights for the forecast.

Working closely with FP&A, you will develop and test scheduling changes, build clear labour dashboards, and present opportunities to General Managers so they can forecast and fund improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in labour optimisation with measurable gains across multiple sites.
• Experience partnering finance and operations to land change, not just report on it.
• 5+ years in analytics with multi-site exposure in hospitality/retail/leisure/QSR.
• Advanced SQL proficiency; comfortable with a modeled data warehouse (Snowflake/dbt advantageous).
• Strong Excel-based financial modelling; fluent with wage percentage, flow-through and contribution.
• BI development experience using tools operators actually use (Omni/Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience with rota, time & attendance and payroll data.
• Ability to critically evaluate demand forecasts for accuracy, bias and seasonality.

Responsibilities

• Labour productivity analysis and identify site-by-site efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to trial scheduling changes and measure impact.
• Build improved labour reporting for daily and weekly visibility to Business Partners and GMs.
• Translate demand forecasts into labour requirements and support models linking covers to hours by role.
• Partner with Data Science and Operations to understand forecast accuracy and improvements.
• Connect labour deployment to member experience to avoid compromising service.
