Job summary

DataAnalystJobs in Greater London is seeking a senior analytics professional to own the labour optimisation analytics. You will partner with Finance, Operations and Data Science to translate forecasts into actionable labour plans and measure impact on wages and service standards.

The role demands strong SQL, Excel modelling, and BI skills, with multi-site exposure across hospitality, retail, or similar sectors. It offers a frontline data role within our Operations team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in labour optimisation and measurable wage improvements.
• Track record of partnering finance and operations to land change, not just report.
• 5+ years in analytics with multi-site operational exposure (hospitality, retail, leisure or QSR).
• Advanced SQL and comfort with modelled data warehouse (Snowflake and dbt an advantage).
• Strong financial modelling in Excel and fluency in P&L mechanics.
• BI development experience (Omni, Looker, Tableau or Power BI).
• Experience with rota, time and attendance and payroll data.
• Able to evaluate demand forecasts for accuracy, bias and seasonality.

Responsibilities

• Labour productivity analysis, identifying site-by-site opportunities for efficiency gains and sizing each one.
• Work with Operations and Finance to trial changes to scheduling and measure their impact.
• Build improved labour reporting for daily and weekly cadence for Business Partners and GMs.
• Support Finance to translate demand forecasts into labour requirements and hours by role.
• Partner with Data Science and Operations to understand forecast accuracy and suggest improvements.
• Connect labour deployment to member experience to ensure productivity gains don’t reduce service quality.
