Job summary

Funding Circle is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data team in London on a 12-month FTC. You will design and maintain Tableau reports, automate processes, and train users while collaborating on a Snowflake migration and data models.

You will work with SQL-heavy data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery), use DBT for modular data models, and mentor teams across cross-functional groups to deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Deep Expertise in SQL with experience working with modern Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience with DBT, building and maintaining modular, scalable data models.
• A practical approach to problem-solving that balances high technical standards with key business priorities.
• Expert in Tableau Desktop.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner smoothly across non-technical teams using Data for story telling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Able to architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with our long-term mission.
• Act as a technical bridge and mentor, training “builders" across the company to move from basic AI usage to sophisticated system creation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain performant, scalable and best practice Tableau reports.
• Collaborating with business users to understand their needs with the aim to automate identified manual processes, and create documentation for Tableau reports.
• Provide training and support to Tableau users.
• Support and collaborate with 3rd party developers to ensure a successful migration from AWS Athena to Snowflake whilst representing the businesses needs.
