Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a Data Technical Lead to shape the technical vision for our Care Services data portfolio. You’ll govern analytics solutions, partner with product leads, and guide multiple squads toward scalable, secure data products.

You’ll drive modern analytics practices across Azure, Snowflake and Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impact in a hybrid UK setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex data and analytics solutions.
• Experience leading multiple teams, products or domains.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, and related data technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication in Agile environments.
• Experience evaluating AI, ML capabilities in data products.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and technical roadmap across the Care Services data product portfolio.
• Partner with Senior Product Managers to balance customer needs, business outcomes, technical sustainability and platform evolution.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple squads, ensuring consistency of approach and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Act as the technical authority for complex data product design decisions.
• Establish and maintain standards, frameworks and best practices across the Care Services data product estate.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering and analytics practices across Azure, Snowflake, Power BI and associated technologies.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Delivery Leads, Engineers and Analysts to support successful product delivery.
• Manage technical dependencies across multiple products and squads.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, ML, Generative AI and advanced analytics to improve outcomes.
