Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Data Technical Lead for permanent work in the UK, with hybrid options (up to 3 days WFH) across Manchester, Leeds or Staines. The role is 37.5 hours per week and includes a base salary from £74.4k plus a 10% bonus and excellent benefits.

You will lead the Care Services data product portfolio, shaping the technical strategy and ensuring scalable, secure analytics solutions using Azure, Snowflake and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex data and analytics solutions.
• Experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms and analytics ecosystems.
• Experience operating within Agile and product-led delivery environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, MDM and data quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and roadmaps across the Care Services data portfolio.
• Partner with Senior PMs to balance customer needs and platform evolution.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple squads.
• Establish standards, frameworks and best practices.
• Drive adoption of Azure, Snowflake and Power BI in the data estate.
• Work with PMs, Delivery Leads, Engineers and Analysts to deliver products.
• Manage technical dependencies across products and squads.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML to improve outcomes.
