Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior/Principal Dams and Reservoirs Engineer to lead design and delivery of reservoir safety and hydraulic structures projects in the UK. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating engineers and scientists to deliver high-quality technical outcomes for major clients.

The role offers hybrid working across multiple offices in the UK, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a leading engineering services firm.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer, or ability to become chartered within 12 months.
Practical knowledge of analysis, optioneering and design for earth/concrete dams and hydraulic structures.

Responsibilities

Provide technical input into reservoir and hydraulic structure design on single or multi-disciplinary projects.
Coordinate or manage engineering study and design delivery teams.
Produce and check study/design reports, calculations, drawings and construction docs.
Build client relationships and provide trusted technical advice.
Mentor less experienced team members and support technical leadership.
