Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to lead in the Dams, Reservoirs & Hydraulic Structures discipline within the D&AT Practice. You will drive technical solutions for high-profile UK projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and deliver engineering excellence across dam safety, hydraulics and asset management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered status preferred or extensive equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex dam, reservoir and hydraulic structures projects.
• Strong understanding of design codes, CDM Regulations and industry best practices.
• Experience in the Water market and client-facing advisory on technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of high-quality deliverables for reservoir and hydraulic structures across single and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Direct delivery of technical work including studies, designs, calculations and construction documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, challenge assumptions and guide teams toward robust engineering solutions.
• Develop relationships with clients and provide trusted technical advice and outcomes.
• Influence practice-wide initiatives and promote best practices across projects.
