Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to lead the Dams, Reservoirs & Hydraulic Structures discipline within the Design & Advanced Technology Practice in the UK. The role focuses on dam safety, reservoir engineering, and multi-disciplinary design with opportunity to influence project delivery and client advisory services.

The candidate should be Chartered or have extensive senior experience, with strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of CDM and current design

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or proven senior experience.
• Knowledge of dams, reservoirs and hydraulic structures engineering.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality project deliverables for reservoir and hydraulic structures.
• Direct delivery of technical work across multiple projects with reports, designs, drawings and construction documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and challenge assumptions to guide solutions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships delivering trusted technical advice.
• Grow and manage capabilities within the practice.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
