Job summary

London Gatwick Airport is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead the operation, optimisation and continuous improvement of cyber security technologies, reducing risk through security controls and threat modelling.

You will manage vulnerability programs, provide governance for remediation, and contribute to assurance activities across cloud, endpoint and hybrid environments. Hybrid work setup applies with three days in the office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant information security certifications.
• Microsoft Security Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own cyber toolsets, configurations and lifecycle management, shaping security investments.
• Define and maintain security standards for technical controls.
• Lead cyber security SME in IT and business projects to ensure secure requirements.
• Manage Vulnerability and Exposure Management (CTEM) across Gatwick systems.
• Provide governance and oversight of remediation activities to reduce risk.
• Support Cyber Technical Assurance Programme including security reviews and testing.
• Support risk assessments and threat modelling sessions.
• Oversee penetration testing programmes and AI/GenAI security controls.
