Qualifications

• Certified Customs Specialist with relevant trade compliance expertise.
• Experience advising on UK/EU customs and international trade.
• Ability to manage complex compliance projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customs advisory to ensure compliance with UK/international laws.
• Review complex projects and offer customs guidance.
• Develop and manage internal export/import controls and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adjust processes accordingly.
• Support legal in resolving complex compliance questions.
• Oversee trade compliance processes and gate reviews of data/shipments.
• Maintain accurate trade compliance records per regs.
• Generate metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for duty optimisation.
