Siemens Energy Limited is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Professional to lead expert customs advisory and regulatory compliance for the gas services business in the UK. Qualifications

• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) with IOE&IT qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Professional in international trade compliance, customs advisory, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customs advice to ensure compliance with UK and international trade laws.
• Review complex projects and provide customs guidance.
• Develop internal export/import controls, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor changes in customs legislation and implement process adjustments.
• Support legal in investigating complex compliance problems and questions.
• Oversee and improve trade compliance processes and data accuracy.
• Generate metrics for export/import processes and drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities for duty optimisation within the business.
