Job summary

NatWest Group is seeking a Business Risk Partner, Customer to collaborate with Senior Business Banking and Commercial Mid-Market leaders. You will identify and manage customer outcome, conduct and control risks, while providing practical risk insights and challenge to support sustainable growth.

In this role you will strengthen risk conversations, maintain forward-looking risk views and drive improvements across controls, governance and management information in a complex financial services

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business risk management, conduct risk, Consumer Duty, customer outcomes, complaints, product governance and control management within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BB and CMM leaders to support safe growth through effective management of customer outcomes, conduct and control risks.
• Maintain a clear, forward-looking view of the risk profile, linking controls, issues, events, governance and management information.
• Provide constructive challenge on business activities to support sustainable growth and customer outcomes.
• Lead or support remediation of risks outside appetite, control weaknesses and audit/regulatory actions, ensuring sustainable solutions.
• Partner with BB & CMM to identify, assess and manage customer outcome, conduct and control risks, aligning with risk appetite.
• Support first-line oversight of customer outcome and conduct risks, including Consumer Duty and related issues, ensuring effective controls and governance.
• Work with the Complaints lead to address underlying risk and control issues, embedding lessons learned into BAU activity.
