Job summary

NatWest Boxed is seeking a Senior Risk & Controls Associate to help develop and embed risk and control mechanisms across the business, independently overseeing management of risks and controls. You will design and implement our risk framework, work with Product, Operations and Technology to ensure regulatory and policy requirements are met, and provide risk and control advice.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and embedding risk and control mechanisms.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and policy development.
• Ability to partner with Product, Operations and Technology.
• Experience with Lending or Savings products is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to design and implement compliant solutions meeting business needs within risk appetite.
• Provide guidance on risk and control management and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure customer outcomes align with regulatory expectations for lending and savings products.
• Develop and apply a risk-based controls framework and update KRIs.
• Manage regulatory risk and remediation activities.
• Support incident resolution with risk exposure considerations.
• Collaborate on product features ensuring design-for-risk and control suitability.
• Coordinate with senior risk stakeholders on risk-driven priorities and policies.
• Maintain an up-to-date RAID log and escalate issues to Risk & Controls Lead.
