Job summary

Evergreen Talent Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor with CSA experience for a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. You will oversee civil, structural and architectural packages, manage procurement, cost control and final accounts, and advise the CSA team.

This role offers progression toward Commercial Manager positions, exposure to high-value packages, and a structured development path with potential chartership support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline and professional eligibility in the UK.
• Minimum five years’ experience in quantity surveying within construction/engineering.
• Strong experience managing civil, structural or architectural work packages.
• Ability to prepare valuations, forecasts, cost-to-complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of designated civil, structural and architectural work packages.
• Manage packages from procurement and subcontract award through construction and final account.
• Develop understanding of package scope, programme and contractual requirements.
• Provide commercial advice to the Commercial Manager, Project Director and team.
• Ensure commercial activities comply with procedures and project requirements.
• Monitor package performance against budgets and objectives.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and potential cost exposure.
