Job summary

Our client is a leading turnkey solutions provider delivering major technology projects across Europe. The Senior Quantity Surveyor – CSA will drive financial and contractual performance on the CSA package for a landmark Blyth project, reporting to the Commercial Manager.

You will develop cost management plans, lead CSA subcontractor procurement, and produce forecasts to support key decisions. The role also involves risk management, stakeholder coordination, and mentoring junior staff in a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
7+ years experience as QS with CSA focus.
Experience with CostX or equivalent cost management software.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement strategy and cost planning.
Excellent communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cost management plans for the CSA package to ensure delivery on budget and on programme.
Lead procurement and negotiation of CSA subcontractor packages.
Produce detailed financial reports and forecasts to support decision-making.
Monitor project risk and implement mitigation strategies to minimise discrepancies.
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve contractual and financial issues swiftly.
Streamline valuations and variations processes for timely payments.
Mentor and support junior QS staff.
