Job summary

Admiral Money, the dynamic lending arm of Admiral Group, is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Financial & Credit Risk function. You will deliver independent oversight of credit strategies across unsecured loans, motor finance, and mortgages, partnering with pricing and policy teams to ensure decisions align with risk appetite and governance.

The role emphasizes using advanced analytics to identify portfolio trends and uphold responsible lending while enabling growth across product

Qualifications

2+ years of credit risk experience in consumer lending.
Proficiency in SQL coding for data extraction and analysis.
Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Provide independent risk oversight of credit strategies across three lending portfolios.
Partner with 1st line Credit and Pricing teams to ensure decisions align with policy and risk appetite.
Use advanced analytics to identify portfolio trends and to support risk management decisions.
Shape and enhance credit policies to protect the business and customers.
Lead thematic reviews to ensure consistent application of risk frameworks.
Assess strategy changes against regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
Champion robust controls and governance across lending operations.
Provide second-line challenge and insights to support risk management and FCA compliance.
