HSBC Group is seeking a Lead Analyst in UK Retail Banking Risk Analytics. You will shape and deliver analytics that strengthen credit decisions and improve portfolio outcomes, building data-driven solutions and monitoring performance at both transactional and portfolio levels.

You will partner with stakeholders across the bank and offshore analytics teams to deliver high-quality insights, ensuring governance, accuracy and tangible business benefits while navigating regulatory demands and cost

Formación

• Experience leading analytics projects within risk or credit functions.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk analytics and MI.
• Ability to translate complex statistical concepts into business language.

Responsabilidades

• Shape and deliver a portfolio of analytics projects, delegating effectively across analysts and offshore teams to meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Influence project planning with stakeholders and sponsors, maintaining regular updates and clear alignment on outcomes.
• Prioritise planned work and manage ad-hoc requests through structured re-planning and expectation setting.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all outputs with clear governance and accountability for delivered results.
• Develop, implement and maintain data-driven solutions that support profit and growth targets while reducing risk, bad debt and fraud losses.
