Job summary

Blue Light Card is seeking a Senior Credit Controller on a six-month fixed-term contract based at our Leicester site. You will own credit control across Direct and Affiliate revenue, post cashbook entries, and drive process improvements within a busy finance function.

You’ll work closely with Partnerships and external affiliate platforms, providing reconciliation and dispute resolution support while contributing to ongoing efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Solid, hands-on experience in accounts receivable or credit control.
• Proven ability to contact customers to collect outstanding balances and resolve disputes.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to interrogate large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own credit control across Direct and Affiliate revenue streams, collecting debt and escalating non-paying accounts.
• Post cashbook entries and allocate receipts within agreed timeframes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between platforms and ERP, coordinating with external partners.
• Produce and distribute the accounts receivable ledger weekly and monthly to Finance and stakeholders.
• Issue monthly customer statements and resolve queries and disputes promptly.
• Maintain data integrity in the validation pipeline and ensure accuracy.
