Job summary

Blue Light Card Ltd's Finance team is in the middle of a meaningful transformation, and this role sits at its centre as a Senior Credit Controller on a six-month fixed term contract at our Cossington, Leicester site. You will keep the accounts receivable function running smoothly while supporting longer-term process improvement.

Qualifications

• Solid, hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
• Experience contacting customers to discuss balances and resolve disputes.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships.
• Methodical reconciliation approach with high accuracy.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365) is a bonus.
• Exposure to omnichannel environments (retail, ecommerce, B2B).

Responsibilities

• Own credit control across Direct and Affiliate revenue streams and escalate non-paying accounts.
• Post cashbook entries and allocate receipts within agreed timeframes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with affiliate platforms and Business Central.
• Produce and distribute the accounts receivable ledger weekly and monthly.
• Issue monthly customer statements and resolve queries with internal/external partners.
• Manage data validation pipeline to ensure data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate reconciliations and BAU processes.
