Job summary

Rutherford Briant is partnering with an established organisation to recruit a Senior Credit Controller who will own the credit control function, manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive cash flow improvements.

The role reports to the Finance Director and involves pursuing outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans and assessing creditworthiness to minimise bad debt exposure. Salary £38,000–£40,000 plus Private Healthcare and Pension Scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Credit Controller or similar role.
• Strong understanding of credit control and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase outstanding debt and reduce aged balances.
• Negotiate payment plans and resolve payment delays.
• Investigate disputes and coordinate with Sales/Operations/Customer Service
• Allocate and reconcile payments and produce aged debt reports
