Job summary

Rutherford Briant is assisting a client in recruiting a Credit Controller to join their busy finance team in the UK. The role focuses on managing a high-volume ledger, conducting credit checks, and supporting cash flow through regular reporting.

You will need proven credit control or accounts receivable experience, strong Excel and data management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. The package includes a £28,000 salary, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and onsite parking.

Responsibilities

• Managing a high-volume ledger
• Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers, setting credit limits and monitoring transactions
• Streamlining cashflow, by minimising days sales outstanding and running regular ageing and risk reports for SLT
• Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable, including cash collection across multiple entities
