Senior Credit Controller

My client in Manchester are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team, to help manage a team of 4 controllers. You will be assisting the Collections Manager in setting targets and initiatives as well as driving the right behaviour by setting an example in collecting outstanding monies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Collections Manager in reviewing the existing systems and make suggestions to develop them
• Identify any aged debt which needs attention
• Preparation of documents to take legal action against bad debtors
• Assist with staff training and the preparation of monthly reports

You will ideally have a legal background, however this is by no means an essential. They are looking for a professional controller with excellent attention to detail and has the ability to work without supervision and comfortable taking the lead and dealing with complex cases.
