Description

My client in Trafford is looking for a Senior Credit Controller/Manager for North American clients to join their busy and dynamic team due to rapid growth. You must have team management/supervisory experience, as you will oversee a team of 4 controllers and 2 legal managers.

As the dedicated North American Credit Manager, you will ensure high standards are maintained at this key point in the client journey. The ideal candidate will have creative flair, be full of ideas for process improvements, and be ready to make a significant impact on a well-established department.

Responsibilities

• Encourage your staff through one-to-ones and inspiring management, constantly assessing quality standards to optimize department performance
• Conduct call scoring to assess call quality
• Proactively identify areas for improvement
• Drive team performance on old debt and defaulted accounts
• Serve as the point of escalation for client-related issues
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a confident and professional manner
• Be a fast thinker and decision maker with excellent attention to detail
• Possess strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

The salary range is £30,000-£40,000, with flexibility based on current packages. Working hours are 11 am-8 pm three days a week and 8:45 am-5:15 pm two days, aligned with American business hours.
