Job summary

MrQ is seeking a senior design leader to own the design language day to day and to steer the team when the Creative Director is not available. You will set and maintain design standards, evolve the brand system, and mentor a wider design team while delivering outstanding, repeatable work across campaigns, social, CRM and activations.

• You've spent years designing at a high level with a portfolio that proves it.
• You understand platform-native design across paid social to product.
• You've built or run a design system or set up working practices that endure.
• You can lead without the title and mentor designers.
• You understand casino, gaming or entertainment is relevant or interesting.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute design across the brand and campaigns to define 'good' for the team.
• Own and steer the MrQ design language, evolve and protect it.
• Take high-stakes briefs yourself and set benchmarks for the team.
• Stay hands-on; this is a maker's role, not just review.
• Build and maintain working practices: briefing standards, feedback loops, version control.
• Maintain the design system with reusable components and templates.
• Represent design in meetings; lead end-to-end design initiatives and mentor others.
