Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Manager for Architecture & Engineering Design - Creative to direct the architectural and engineering design and programming documentation within Creative Studio for Universal United Kingdom Resort (UUKR).

You will coordinate with external vendors, project partners, stakeholders, and in-house teams to ensure designs align with the overall creative and facility plan vision and transition smoothly to the project development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs coordination between project design team and Architecture and Engineering vendors; develops preliminary facility program input and exhibits.
• Reviews drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with creative and design intent, and readiness for transition to the project development team.
• Identifies FOH and BOH program requirements via ongoing interfaces with UPR Business, Operational and Creative Teams.
• Manages the facility Architecture and Engineering scope of work, RFPs, vendor selection, and changes to vendor agreements.
• Monitors weekly/monthly progress reports and directs actions to address trends and changes.
• Contributes to a best-in-class culture with collaboration, DEI focus, and ongoing learning.
• Understands and participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per UO policies.
