Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director of Civil Engineering and Construction in the United Kingdom to lead property development construction projects across Universal Destinations & Experiences HQ. You will oversee on-site coordination, design development, procurement, contractor interfaces, field operations, and schedule and budget management to deliver a world-class destination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Construction Management or a related field.
• Significant experience in infrastructure, engineering and construction.
• Familiarity with UK contracting methodologies (NEC) and fast-track programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and on-site construction coordination across multiple interfaces.
• Oversee procurement, contracting, vendor management and performance for facility development.
• Manage safety compliance, reporting, budgeting and schedule to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with design, operating teams and external stakeholders to ensure constructability and operational readiness.
