Matchtech is seeking an experienced Construction Responsible Engineer (CRE) to join a depot enhancement and rail infrastructure programme in the North West. You will act as CRE, ensure safety and NR standards, and provide oversight across construction and implementation.

The role offers exposure to engineering assurance, design integration and project delivery in a live rail environment, with progression toward a Contractor's Engineering Manager (CEM) role.

Qualificações

• Experience as CRE on Network Rail projects.
• Strong understanding of Network Rail assurance and delivery processes.
• Experience in multidisciplinary rail environments.
• Familiar with railway standards, methodologies and governance.
• Proven ability to engage multiple stakeholders and report clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the nominated CRE within your discipline.
• Ensure safety and NR standards compliance during construction.
• Provide engineering oversight through construction and handover.
• Review technical doc, deliverables and assurance records.
• Support planning, risk management and change control.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers and Network Rail.
• Assist with engineering acceptance and assurance activities.
• Monitor compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in site inspections and technical reviews.
• Contribute to engineering management processes and leadership.
