Job summary

Gardiner & Theobald LLP is seeking an Executive Cost Consultant to join its Infrastructure team. The role involves pre- and post-contract activities, procurement management, budgeting, and cost reporting across high-profile projects.

You will lead cost planning and benchmarking, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and help grow the business while delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction or related field required.
• MRICS preferred but not essential.
• Experience on large infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Experience in a consultancy environment is desirable.
• Strong leadership and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre and post contract activities including procurement and budgeting.
• Produce cost reports, cash flow forecasts and financial analyses for clients.
• Lead tender evaluations and coordinate with clients and suppliers.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development initiatives.
• Drive cost planning, estimating and benchmarking across projects.
