Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall in London is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Associate Cost Manager (MEP) to lead cost management on large Data Centre projects across the UK and Europe, with hybrid working and close client liaison.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, MRICS preferred, and strong delivery experience in CSA/MEP for Data Centre projects, plus stakeholder management and leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline.
• MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body is preferred.
• Strong technical delivery experience delivering CSA and/or MEP packages for Data Centre projects.
• Previously employed by a consultancy, general contractor or end user client.
• Stakeholder management with a focus on developing client accounts.
• Demonstrable leadership across people, projects and business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of Data Centre projects, taking responsibility for performance and outcomes.
• Provide leadership across people, projects and business activities.
• Build and develop strong client relationships, contributing to work winning.
• Line management responsibilities and support for career development.
• Liaise with clients and external consultants throughout all project phases.
• Carry out duties efficiently in line with processes and procedures.
• Comply with Commercial, Procurement, Contractual strategies.
• Contribute to cost planning, budgets and value for money solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.
• Support financial performance and report on project cost control.
