Assystem UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to lead Cost and Forecasting activities across the HPC project. You will direct a team, maintain CBS/WBS-aligned cost data, and provide robust reporting to Programme Directors.

The role requires senior stakeholder engagement and a strong background in cost management within regulated environments. You will drive improvements in forecasting processes, mentor junior staff, and ensure data quality across EcoSys, SAP and BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Able to deliver accurate cost and forecasting insights to drive evidence-based decision making.
• Understanding wider project controls disciplines enabling Cost and Forecasting with schedule, risk and change.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to facilitate Cost and Forecasting conversations with colleagues at all levels.
• Effective communication of complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• May have leadership experience and ability to develop junior members.

Responsabilités

• Produce and maintain accurate cost and forecasting aligned with CBS/WBS.
• Direct workload and provide guidance to Cost Engineers on a day-to-day basis.
• Assure maintenance of Cost and Forecasting data in systems such as EcoSys and SAP.
• Deliver timely cost/forecasting reports with commentary on drivers and issues.
• Lead Cost and Forecasting training for the Programme/Area team and apprentices.
• Collaborate across boundaries to achieve mutually successful outcomes.
• Identify enhancements to cost/forecasting procedures, processes, and tools.
• Present accurate outputs at Programme Reviews and Board Meetings.
