Job summary

Arcadis in the UK seeks a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost management across major projects and programmes. Based in the Places Commercial Management team, you will work across London, Cardiff, Bristol with regular site‑based engagement (2–3 days per week) and collaborate with contractors and client teams to deliver accurate commercial outcomes.

You will manage several workstreams or significant elements of programmes, applying strong technical capability and effective stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Actively support internal team on technically complex projects/programmes.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues and emerging leadership skills.
• Experience working with external stakeholders to build client relationships.
• Experience managing business relationships at senior-management level.
• Capable of leading a project from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Coach team members to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Work within established financial systems to produce reports and forecasts and track budgets.
• Deliver small to medium cost projects or significant components within deadlines.
• Provide advice on risk management, compliance and related behaviours.
• Present project risks or issues to senior managers to protect delivery.
• Analyse data to identify themes and inform cost/ commercial decisions.
• Share knowledge to drive process improvements and innovation.
