Currie & Brown is seeking a senior cost consultant to join our Edinburgh office. You will support project leaders with cost advice, deliver complex commissions and assignments, and maintain clear financial control across high‑profile projects.

The role requires a BSc in quantity surveying, MRICS, and experience with CostX and Power BI, across private commercial, offices, residential, hospitality or major schemes. We offer a collaborative, international practice with career progression.

Formación

• BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS membership or working towards MRICS.
• Experience in private commercial sectors—offices, residential, hospitality or major schemes.
• Proficient with CostX or similar cost-planning software.
• Knowledge of sustainability/data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).

Responsabilidades

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients.
• Deliver projects, commissions and professional assignments.
• Lead objectives and priorities as a proactive team member.
• Maintain effective communication for financial control across projects.
• Undertake commercial management services with limited supervision.
• Deliver outputs accurately and on time.
• Support team leaders in cost management of projects.
• Represent the company professionally in client interactions.
