Job summary

TSR Legal is assisting a respected national law firm in appointing a Senior Associate Solicitor to join its Corporate team in Birmingham. The role covers M&A, private equity, joint ventures, equity and debt funding, and broader corporate advisory matters.

The candidate should have around 3+ years PQE, strong drafting, commercial awareness and a track record of handling complex transactions. Flexible working arrangements are available within a national practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE in corporate law.
• Experience leading corporate transactions (M&A, equity/debt financing).
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to manage client objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a range of corporate transactions from instruction to completion.
• Advise on corporate governance and strategic business matters.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices as part of a national corporate practice.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
• Support the growth of the practice by delivering high-quality work.
