William James Recruitment is representing a leading commercial law firm recruiting a Corporate Senior Associate in Birmingham. The role offers exposure to a broad mix of UK and international transactions, with ownership of complex matters and a clear progression path.

You will work with partners, advise listed companies, investors and financial institutions across sectors, including cross-border work, and play a role in business development while mentoring junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years' PQE in corporate law.
• Strong Equity Capital Markets and public M&A experience.
• Excellent legal, negotiation and stakeholder skills.
• Mentoring juniors and business development interest.

Responsibilities

• Lead ECM and public company matters from instruction to completion.
• Advise listed companies, institutions and corporate clients.
• Mentor junior lawyers and support development.
• Business development and networking to raise profile.
