Finastra, a global leader in financial services software, is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join the Product Management team. You will work at the intersection of Product Management, Engineering, Services, and clients, shaping future Core Banking capabilities and guiding complex solution design for a platform used by banks worldwide.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the Equation Core Banking platform.
• Experience as a BA, Product Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Specialist, or SME in Financial Technology.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking products, operations, and business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex banking problems.

Responsibilities

• Assess enhancement requests and determine whether solutions exist, can be configured, or require new development.
• Define and shape new capabilities across Core Banking domains.
• Partner with Product Management to influence strategy and roadmap priorities.
• Support Customer Success and Support teams with complex client issues and solution design.
• Produce high-quality functional specifications, BRDs, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Implementation teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor on Core Banking functionality, industry trends, and best practices.
• Lead AI-enabled transformation across multiple teams by driving automation and better decision-making.
