Job description

Job Opportunity: Senior Conveyancer

Our client based in Kettering is seeking to recruit a full-time, permanent Senior Conveyancer. This office-based role operates Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a caseload of property transactions, including freehold and leasehold conveyancing.
  2. Providing legal advice to clients on buying and selling processes.
  3. Communicating with clients via in-person meetings, phone, letter, or email.
  4. Preparing and reviewing documents such as sales contracts, title deeds, and Land Registry documents.
  5. Handling financial aspects of transactions, including submitting stamp duty forms and registering documents at the Land Registry.
  6. Maintaining high-quality customer service.
  7. Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, including AML policies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of conveyancing case handling experience.
  • Methodical approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for property law.
  • Professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Problem-solving, research, and negotiation skills.

Salary and Benefits: Depending on experience, from £40,000 to £75,000, plus pension, health insurance, generous holiday entitlement, and training opportunities.
