Job summary

AJ Bell in London is seeking a Senior Conversion Rate Specialist to join the CX and Experimentation team. You’ll optimise digital journeys, run A/B and multivariate tests, and translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve conversion and engagement across our platforms.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, tech and UX teams, act as platform expert on testing tools, and help drive measurable commercial outcomes while ensuring regulatory obligations are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of designing and executing conversion optimisation tests.
• Strong practical understanding of web technologies and HTML.
• Experience using data analytics tools, preferably Contentsquare and GA4.
• Competent in JavaScript and Google Tag Manager.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Awareness and understanding of UX & CX design principles.
• Experience working with web developers.
• Familiar with optimisation tools and platforms, preferably Webtrends Optimize and Optimizely.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in teams and independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing roadmap with Experimentation Manager and ensure alignment with regulatory obligations.
• Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimise website elements and conversion funnels.
• Analyse test results and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Become platform super user and deliver tests from development to delivery.
• Monitor website performance using analytics tools (Contentsquare, GA4, etc.).
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations and backlog items.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to improve digital experience.
• Work with marketing, product, technology and UX teams to support testing roadmap.
• Manage relationships with third parties to support experimentation agenda.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in CRO, UX/CX, and digital marketing.
