Job summary

Actemium Automation Teesside in Billingham or Worksop is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead delivery of industrial automation projects from concept through commissioning. You will work closely with clients to design, test and implement control solutions using PLC/DCS/SCADA platforms.

The role offers an office-based 37.5 hour week with a salary from £55,000 depending on experience, a discretionary bonus, generous holiday, pension and VINCI benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with major PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms.
• Experience with Siemens PCS 7 and PlantPAx.
• Willingness to lead projects and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver control and automation solutions from concept to commissioning.
• Foster relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Produce design and test documentation.
• Develop PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA software (Siemens PCS 7, PlantPAx).
• Perform testing with customers and on-site commissioning.
• Compile training manuals and run customer training sessions.
