Job summary

SSE plc invites applications for a Senior Contract Manager to join the Procurement and Commercial team supporting large-scale RIIO T3 Onshore projects. You will deliver pre- and post-contract procurement and commercial support across major transmission schemes, reporting to the P&C Manager.

From a Quantity Surveying background, you will negotiate T&Cs on high-value contracts (£20M to £500M), manage cost reporting and change control, and provide robust post-contract commercial management to

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent required.
• Professional membership with RICS or CICES preferred.
• 5+ years post graduate experience in commercial roles.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract terms and conditions for high-value projects (£20M–£500M) and manage delivery phase costs.
• Engage and manage stakeholders, influence decisions, resolve disputes and provide problem-solving support.
• Cost reporting and change management, payment and expenditure oversight.
• Post-contract commercial management to support project objectives and value for money.
