SSE plc is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join the Procurement and Commercial Team within the Transmission Development Directorate. You will focus on onshore development projects and manage procurement activities for a portfolio of high-value capital schemes.
The role requires experience with NEC/FIDIC/LOGIC contracts, stakeholder engagement, and cost management. Aberdeen/Glasgow/Inverness/Perth locations with 50% travel are anticipated.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, and Perth
Salary: £59800 - £89800 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contract Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial Team within the Transmission Development Directorate focussing on onshore development projects. The Network Transmission business is forecasting a £12Bn spend within the next 10 years across their key capital projects both onshore and offshore and the successful candidate will play an instrumental role in supporting these projects as they progress through the development phase.
We are looking for candidates to have both pre and post contract experience of high value capital projects preferably within transmission or a similar industry. The candidate will be a methodical thinker, who has experience in strategy development and implementation. Offshore (Marine/Subsea) project experience will be beneficial but not essential.
