Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Contracts Manager for repairs and maintenance in the Nottinghamshire area on an initial three‑month temporary basis. You will lead repairs & maintenance teams, oversee inspections, ensure H&S compliance and manage client relationships to meet KPIs within budgets.

The role requires significant housing/construction experience, driving licence and willingness to travel for meetings. Housing repairs/capital works procurement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a similar Housing/Local Authority/Construction role.
• Driving licence and capability to travel to the office for business meetings.
• Experience procuring housing repairs and/or capital works contracts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs & maintenance teams across responsive repairs, adaptations and minor capital works.
• Oversee property inspections to ensure accurate scoping, specification and costing of works in line with budgets and contract requirements.
• Maintain health & safety compliance across all operatives.
• Manage client relationships, meet KPIs and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed standards.
• Ensure gas compliance across direct labour and subcontractors.
